Theology of the Body – The Gift

Your Call to Greatness

The Gift is a perfect beginning for a parish that wants to break into Theology of the Body with adults but doesn’t know quite where to start.

Your Call to Greatness is a one-hour talk that answers some fundamental human questions. It presents the overall vision of Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. This presentation can be used as a single evening group study as an overview program to prepare for the 8-Part An Introduction to the Theology of the Body study.

Here are some of the questions Christopher West addresses in this presentation:

  • What is our “call to greatness” and what is the key to unlocking it?
  • What will bring the happiness we all long for?
  • What is the “gift” that God desires to give us?
  • What is the Theology of the Body?
  • Why were we created male and female?
  • What is the “spousal meaning” of the body?
  • What are our origin, history, and destiny?
  • What is the “language of the body”?
  • What is the meaning of life? How do we experience it?

Excellent Educational Technique

The Gift – Your Call to Greatness is not just a “talking head” DVD program. If it’s done right, it appeals to all of the learning styles and can really appeal to adult motivation to learn. The DVD presentation is followed by a small group discussion centered on the workbook. Then the evening is finished with a large group discussion to reinforce insights and key points.

This program is also perfect for a small faith sharing community. Divide it into two 30-minute segments or four 15-minute segments. There will be plenty to discuss!

This is the same proven flow that makes the Great Adventure Bible Timeline program so popular!

Introduce your parish to the beauty and wonder that is Theology of the Body. Fill out the form above and I’ll contact you so we can plan out what’s best for your parish!
